I've now added in tracking of power gains.

My next plans todo are to add in better reporting to raid/guild chat.

Great stuff Cryect
One thing I noticed was that while you had added parry and dodge I couldn't see anything for block.

Are you planning on making the changes to the personal details section as well?

First, thank you for continuing this wonderful addon.

When I feed my pet I get the following spammed (for each happiness increase):
RECAP Unhandled Type for Feed Pet Effect of type Happiness
No actual error, but I thought I'd report it.

Yeah, found that one out in raid today on the happiness.

Would have inserted block in as well Cluey except for the issue that there was no real space to put it and I didn't care enough to decide to reshuffle and space things out at the time :p

Fair enough it is a little cramped in the display area.
It turns out another author has been updating a Recap as well, I came across it before you posted your version, he has expanded the details pane, maybe you can borrow from him?

Heh, the detail pane is actually already expanded if you compare it to normal. I added a full line when I added crushing blows in.

I just tried using your add-on, but as soon as I log in I get an error message that reads:
recap.lua:329:Attempt to index a nil value

Is this something on my part or the add-on?

Bad data, there is some issues with data getting corrupted somehow.

Do /script recap={};ReloadUI()
That should fix any issues otherwise its a conflict with another addon.

Forgive me for not checking but I can't right now. But do the powergain tracking track things like, say, unbridled wrath rage gained during an entire fight? Anger management gain? Shield spec gain? If so, coupled with tracking of crushing blows, would be an excellent addition to my addon repertoire.

As long as it triggers a combatlog message it tracks it.

Just checking logs from last night I can see bloodrage & shield spec from our warriors and I don't think any of them had Unbridled Wrath but I assume it works like Primal Fury.

Random question: What's the difference between this version of Recap and the one found here?

I'm trying to find a good meters addon to keep track of damage done, taken, healing, etc. I used SWStats about 6 months ago and it worked out fine for me, but it seems Recap is quite well liked by many people so I figured I'd give it a try. I have no experience with DamageMeters itself. I know it's a bit off topic, but why do people prefer whatever meter it is that they prefer?

I like Recap the most because I think it is the most concise and clearly arranged mod out there. DamagerMeters was too much information in one window, and SWStats was too confusing and I did not have that nive overview about my abilities like with Recap.

I personally prefer Recap since it's probably got the most intuitive interface of the bunch, and with auto-minimize it doesn't take up that much space unless you specifically want to view it, so even if it takes more space for displaying the data, generally when you're viewing it's data you don't really care about that anyway. SW_Stats is close in the amount of data displayed, but I find it far more of a hassle to get to a piece of information I want.

Of course, you don't get bars that update 'live' with it, but that's a feature I've personally never really cared about.

That version you showed above has a couple different various features from my version he's concentrated on things like reporting where I've looked into recording data that wasn't being recorded etc.

Yeah thats on my todo list but ended up being more complex than I expected to change due to how recap creates the list.

If only recap and damage meters could be mixed. The real time dps bars of damage meters are the only reason i like it, but recap own in post fight info and interface.

Recap works fine so far, until I enter PvP.
With people from other realms I am now seeing entries that are server names, like Sen'jin, Nera'thor, Theredras or Onyxia showing up as entities.

The players themselves don't show up in the list (maybe due to "merge pets with owners" or something).

Heh damn Feldia told me that bug and I forgot to write it down thanks for bringing it back up.

At the moment, working on getting another project a little more polished before fixing up Recap some more.

Another issue (though I wasn't using the latest version). Yesterday on Moroes I noticed that his Garotte is accounted as damage to the player being afflicted by it.

The combatlog message was something like "You suffer 1075 physical damage through Garrote."
