Grammar

Probably because your post lacked capitalization and/or punctuation, was difficult to read, or looked like it was typed by a teenage chat room surfer. And if you like to go crazy with the ellipsis or <enter> or <space>, we probably nailed you for that idiotic habit as well. The properly structured paragraph is not a difficult concept. If that's still not enough information, consult the following (incomplete) list of unacceptable words:

Hand-holding

"But I wasn't begging to have my hand held!" Yes you were. Search, read, and always assume first that your question has been addressed or that there are tools available which allow you to figure it out yourself. This community is made up of high-end players who know their shit and can back it up with facts and exhaustive test results. They also visit and contribute almost every day which means you were probably behind the minute you registered. If you can't keep up or don't understand what's going on, it's not our problem.

Profile

You're not a murloc, your play character isn't named N/A, and there is an armory profile you could link to. This is true even if you're currently taking a break from the game.

Whining

Blizzard isn't intentionally trying to screw you out of your favorite spec and they don't hate your class, your doomsday prediction about the next patch is probably wrong, and we don't care if you're thinking about quitting or that you'll lose your raid slot. And while you might think you weren't whining, it definitely sounded like it.

Useless Post

Your post didn't contribute to the flow of the discussion, nor did it tell people something they didn't already know.

Trolling

You're not that good of a player, nor are you that intelligent, and the tapestry of curses you just wove was not creative.

General Idiocy

You were being stupid and got called on it. Don't be stupid.
