So I got into an argument with some of my guildies about using pestilence during the 25m Saurfang encounter. It was not a heroic mode fight - my guild hasn't downed LK yet - and they told me that I shouldn't Pestilence because of the blood beasts. Now, I wasn't able to time my pest with the blood beasts perfectly, the beasts got hit by my disease around 2-3 times, but I told them that GoD was the only way to go. They told me it was better to do IT, PS to refresh my diseases.

I'm the only frost dk in the guild, they don't know how to dps as frost, and they can't get it through their heads that i HAVE to pest to pull highest dps. I lost only to an unholy DK - only because i didn't DBW.

Also, I was told that Armor Penetration wasn't that good for DKs...I almost fell out of my seat laughing.

I told them about the heavy reliance on obliterate and melee - but they said that was only 2 things, and trinkets like DBW should go to combat rouges. While we have no limitations on who gets the trinket (not ret pallies/enh shammies/mut rouges, but who it helps) but its retarded that my DPS is treated as sub par.

I love my guildies, i believe they are just misinformed, does anyone have any suggestions on how to broach this subject?
