It was stated recently that only the top 0.5% of each Battlegroup will be receiving the armoured nether drakes. This seems to be a big problem for a couple of reasons.

There is no Battlegroup that is just made up of Oceanic servers.

At a high competitive end there is a notable loss from having a lower ping to the server you are playing on. It does not strike me as being especially fair. It's bad enough to be a lower populated server population in a populous battlegroup without also having to fight against this lag penalty. As it currently stands I don't expect Oceanic Teams to be properly represented based on server populations, and that's disappointing.

Why can't they just make it the top 0.5% of each server?

In case you're confused. My question is not rhetorical. I would like to see some reasons offered that make sense for why they have chosen to exclude some servers from the arena rewards like this.

I realise the previous post was locked and denned. I don't know why. This is a valid question; just because oecanic servers make up a smaller proportion of the WoW population does not mean we should be ignored. Don't be dicks.
