as far as i have seen, Limited ptr use and dummy test, using 2x 1h weapons seems to be no longer feasible in wotlk gear i saw a dps increas from my 2x Scourgeborne Waraxe vs the 2h Distant Land, it also seems the stakethrower is doing better than zods but i cant say that conclusively.

Just to clarify are you saying that the distant land was better than dual wielding waraxes? Did you reforge them, or are they both in pristine states?
