Question about professions.

Would it be worth it to drop BS and pick up Alchemy? I plan on keeping Jewelcrafting. Alchemy is looking like its gonna have a lot of good things to it. Potions to Deep, transmutes, Dragon(:)). Let me know what you guys think.
