Rule 4: Stop whining.

Rule 6: Competing for healing meters is silly at any time, especially so when you're raiding LK content with Cataclysm rules.

Last night was my first night able to play since the patch, and I was getting more than a little upset with myself and with all these changes. I almost shut off my meters in order to give up trying to be competitive, but instead I stuck through it. What I felt is that they slowed us down way too much. With Holy Light to be our primary spell, and taking 1.7-1.8 seconds with over 1000 haste (normal cast time after the HS crit fast HL had been used, while HS was on CD, but with Judgement haste). I was just getting upset that I couldn't cast fast enough.

I know it will just take some getting reacquainted with the new style of healing, but damn if it wasn't a kick in the nutz...

Our group managed to muddle through the first three wings of ICC 25 Heroic, with the exception of Deathwhisper (several attempts and just way too many issues with many classes), and the entire night was consumed with conversations about these changes ... all the Paladins were upset ... the Feral Druid was livid ... you get the idea.

I can't imagine what this would have been like before Blizz came along last week and gave us a 10% BUFF to all these spells ... really sad. I hope they plan to make it better for us.
