Just a small correction to your calculation, the way you calculated
(49 + 75) / 2 + [(6000 / 14) * 3.4] + (6000 * 0.042) + 226 = 62 + 1457,14 + 252 + 226 = 1997,14
(64 + 76) / 2 + [(6000 / 14) * 1.5] + (6000 * 0.042) + 226 = 70 + 642,86 + 252 + 226 = 1190,86
Cause if left written the way you did it, it would've shown like the slower weapon is the one producing less damage.
And I don't think the damage component is that much significant when the difference in speed is smaller.
We have [Zod's Repeating Longbow](on the same 6k RAP you already mentioned), using the formula you gave us
(638 + 1186) / 2 + [(6000 / 14) * 2.8] + (6000 * 0.042) + 226 = 912 + 1200 + 252 + 226 = 2590
While with Fal'inrush normal Fal'inrush, Defender of Quel'thalas - Item - World of Warcraft
(746 + 1120)/2 + [(6000 / 14) * 3] + (6000 * 0.042) + 226 = 933 + 1285.71 + 252 + 226 = 2696.71
So that means that the damage gain / arcane shot is about 106.71 for a 0.2 difference in speed.
