Rule 4: Asserting that the dps your class is capable of needs to be increased is fine. Whining about how your class does "abysmal" dps is not fine. Improve your tone to avoid whining.

Rule 6: You're just repeating things other people have already said. It's nice that you have actual level 85 raid experience to confirm their results, but you didn't actually provide any information about those experiences so you're not saying anything helpful. "It seems to me something was changed" isn't the sort of quantitative information that improves knowledge. "I did a lot of dummy testing" is unhelpful for two reasons. First, you didn't share your tests; you're asking us to just trust you that your numbers proved the results you assert. Second, dummy tests aren't a helpful way to measure raid dps. They're shorter and more vulnerable to rng, and they're missing relevant raid buffs and debuffs.

Rule 7: Maybe there was a bug with mastery. Maybe it's been fixed. Instead of asking other people to figure out if that's true, do your own testing and math and see if you can figure out if that's true. Then you'd have something useful to contribute to the discussion.

There is definitely something going on with Flame Tongue now. I raided on Beta as well as made a new Epic pre-made and did a lot of dummy testing. I always ran WF/FT and FT was always about 12% of my damage on both toons.It seems to me something was changed as FT was never this high of a damage ratio for me. It beat out WF by quite a bit on some attempts.

So I think we should look into seeing if maybe the bug with mastery was fixed. Also I was consistently topping the meters tonight on Magmaw attempts in Blackwing Decent with a pretty well balanced 10man. I am able to pull 13.5k with the new pre-made on the dummy which is 5-6k more damage then I was doing last night on the old one. I really hope this is the way they actually want enhance to be cause it was quite refreshing to actually contribute to the raid instead of the abysmal DPS we have been given lately.
