Here's the issue as I see it, and you and plenty of others might disagree...

The reason behind the Novembeard thread was not stated explicitly in the first post and very rarely even mentioned in the thread, leading myself (and others) to think it was about nothing more than growing beards for the fun of it. (Incidentally, that's how the whole Movember thing started, as a joke, with the awareness only coming in subsequent years.) People acted like assholes in the way they responded to me, and I decided to push their buttons with every post made after the fact.

Yes, I was deliberately pissing people off after a certain point. It's easy as hell with some of them. Is it subtle? No. But it's pretty much the definition of trolling, and the reason for your warning seems to agree. But then people want to comment (further shitting up their own thread, I might add) that I was only retroactively claiming to "trollolol" them, like I don't know what I'm doing.

Which brings me to this: I'd left the thread alone already. I'd already decided that pushing their buttons wasn't accomplishing anything worthwhile anymore (to me; fuck them). But then you step in waving your badge and gun and... damnit, the urge to shit post is so strong right now. I've got to get ready to leave, so I'll probably decide against doing so between now and whenever I come home, but I want you to know that this warning was unnecessary, so don't feel so smug about it.
