If ya guild has decent progress server wise and thus a good position to recruit players the bets option ya have is to try and get into contact with players in guilds with les progress and see if ya can get them to switch. Unfair for the other guild ? ofcourse, but thats how it works and people arent owned by guilds, if they dont wanna go respect that, if they do, well then their guild was doing something wrong.
How to find them ? The easiest way ussauly is to get other guilds dkp pages, check for people that outperform the rest, a guy with a 95% RA in a medoicre guild could be tirred of the slacking in his guild and move, while his high RA ensures ya guild that ya dont bring on other slacker onboard.
The contacting part is quite simple, just wisper them Ofcourse dont start right away with "Do ya wanna join us ?" But start with some chit chat, see if he's unhappy with his guild, anoyed by some people or whatever. An other good strategy is planting seeds, talk to them and let em know ya also hate peopel slacking around and wish ya guild had more people with a high RA and pve dedication. it might take a few days but his application could pop up at ya site all of a sudden or he'll wisper ya.
About application, make sure people know ya take hidden application, people in guilds will almost never post open applications as chances are this wil get a gkicked or just in a nasty situation guild wise. And yes, as the previous poster sais, make sure to be silent about it, if his current guild finds out ya have a god chance to loose the application and screw the guy over. So make sure only a select group of people in ya guild know abot his application, dont gold guild wise votes are anything, thats bound to go wrong.
Also dont be to picky, ya ca nalways move someone to the farraids til he leaves the guild or gkick him, dont try to find the perfect recruitment, as its extremely hard to really know what for player ya got till he's in your raid and doing his thing. Easiest way to find out what for player ya got is to look at his RA (high RA ofc) and gear (put time in getting the best gear available for him, enchating it). Simply becuase ya can judge these 2 from a distance without knowing the guy, how good or how nise he is are way tougher to judge.
