Rule 6: Dummy tests aren't useful unless you have very consistent players, testing for very long periods of time, with dedicated friends willing to provide all relevant raid buffs and debuffs. We don't use them here, except for specific tailored theorycrafting purposes, like establishing proc rates and internal cooldowns.

Hi, first time posting here. Got a question regarding trinkets usage for maximizing DPS.

I used to equip Theralion's Mirror and DMC: Volcano (reforged to Haste) for raids, and begin fights with a FS, then EM + Synapse Springs + LvB (both CD macroed together), then continue the normal elemental rotation. Recently, I've acquired Heart of Ignacious, and have been testing it out a little. The problem I run into now is that upon activating Heart of Ignacious - it puts my Synapse Springs on CD (for ~12s I believe) and vice versa.

My question is which sequence should I be using to maximize DPS (for a normal, minimal movement fight)
1) EM + Synapse Springs at the start, then after the 12s CD, activate Heart of Ignacious
2) EM + Heart of Ignacious at the start, then after the 12s CD, activate Synapse Springs
3) FS > LvB > 3x LB, then EM + Heart of Ignacious > etc etc

I've tried all 3 sequences on a dummy 5 times each, and yielded an average of 16-18k. Result didn't seem concrete as to which is 100% better. The problems I see with sequence #2 is Heart of Ignacious takes a little time to charge 5 stacks of the buff, so I won't have 5 stacks up right at the start, whereas sequence #1 I do by the time Synapse Springs is over.

And sequence #3 I'm not benefiting from the entire duration of Power Torrent proc, since it usually procs early. By the time I stack to 5 charges and popping the CDs, Power Torrent is over (or almost over) and on its 45s ICD already.

To me, sequence #1 seem the most logical rotation to activate my CDs... but again, testing all 3 five times each (for 5 min each time) resulted in scattered results between 16-18k. Maybe blame RNG? : /

Or maybe I should be using a completely different trinket combination instead? I have the following available:
DMC: Volcano (Current)
Heart of Ignacious (Current)
Theralion's Mirror
Bell of Enraging Resonance
Tyrande's Doll
*LB gets pushed to 0.954s cast, with EM + HoI + Bloodlust up. Small interval only, not sure how badly does pushing below GCD affect my overall DPS
*Didn't used Bell of ER before patch, haven't used it after patch. It just seemed like a bad choice out of everything I have
