Okay so I've been reading this thread for quite a bit now.
I was a holy priest from vanilla and started on my resto sham only in Cata.

Anyway, I have 2 points/discussions/queries:

1.) Until yday, I stacked haste till 916 and a went all the way with crit. I was around 19-ish % unbuffed. Today, I read somewhere that the 2005 haste cap for another tick of Riptide was easily attainable. Sadly, with my gear I maxed out at 1676.

So, should I continue pushing for this 2005 haste rating or go back to crit? A lot say haste past the softcap is irrelevant if you don't get another extra tick. I usually do 10men and Riptide amounts for top quite a big chunk of heals.

2.) Trinkets, oh so many of em. Before 4.0.6 Core of Ripeness + MTT was super for me. Now the on use is pretty bleh.

So I have a choice of: Darkmoon Card (the best out of all I have, I think), Jar (it seems like Jar kinda sucks now....), Mandala and Core.

Mandala of Stirring Patterns looks really good on paper but I question the proc rate.

Any thoughts? Greatly appreciated.
