As for the first one, when do you ever need to life tap in a raid situation? Between Mana Feed and Soul Leech there are very few times when I even need to life tap, and on majority of those fights you can easily time it with necessary movement anyway.

For the second, 20% increase on 20% of your damage vs 5% increase on 20% of your damage.. Seems a no-brainer to me?
