Asking for other people to do your calculations for you is frowned upon here. You can easily find a dps value for the Shard on your own, for someone in a top 50 guild it seems odd that you can't. Even worse, you're asking for math to back up a comparison between dps and what? hps? burst healing? which healer class do you mean? you want numbers on tank longevity? raid survivability? expected number of combat resses? And which encounter are we talking about exactly? You are 13/13 so do you want numbers on how much time you'll save on loot farming raids? Or do you think someone will be able to do some speculative calculations for firelands encounters? It seems to me, is just you trying to gather some ammunition to convince your guild that you should be allowed to roll on the healer loot. Sure it's a great item for arcane mages too, but there's no way anyone is going to be able to give you a meaningful way to compare dps with hps.
Also, don't sign your posts, your profile is shown to the left of each post you make.
Can someone do an analysis and compare the benefits for shard of woe mage vs healer, besides the obvious arguments (Op for healers, best trinket for mages). If there is any math to back it up. Also what is the exact dps value of shard of woe? I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out. Theorycrafting programs can only do so much. I need one of you math experts to help me out I would appreciate it much. Thanks
