Hey everyone! (first post)

I'm a big fan of this thread, as a recent enhance spec'd shaman (respec'd maybe a week and a half ago) I've been trying to cram as much info into my little head as possible.

With everyone posting about what weapons to buff what with (with the new patch) I'd like to add my input.

Before patch day i was running wf5/wf4 with fools bane/1.8 speed dagger and it worked fine and dandy, then patch day hit, i buffed wf5/wf5 and i think i had a few tears coming down my face. Then i tried wf5/flametongue and it got a little better but it was almost enough to send me running for the hills.

Either way, even before 2.1 i was searching for a slow off hand but just couldn't come up with one, but this patch, i realised a fast off hand was 100% not acceptable anymore, it just ate up way to many of the wf procs that should have been going off on my main hand...

Having saved up a bunch of honor, i grinded another 2k or so, and got a high warlord cleaver (lvl 70 edition), and stuck a +20 str enchant on it, and, WOW, what a difference... With a few other upgrades this weekend (surestrike engineering goggles) I went to test on the servants (cheesy due to the 100% hit rate i seem to produce and increased crit rate, but, i always test on them) i was able to produce 950 sustained DPS over 10min with no sign of stopping any time soon...

All that said i can't wait to raid this week and see how i do compared to our rogues... i haven't been able to catch them (not even close) yet but my gear isn't even close to our top rogues...

and anyone who is having a hard time justifying an enhance sham i would suggest you do the 3 rogues/1 war/1 enhance sham group, and an extra rogue in some other group test, the dmg charts will impress.

And one other thing (heh), As much as i would personally love to be dropping GoA... i definitely think an enhance shams home is in a 3 rogues/war/sham group (for max efficiency, our rogues are usually combat daggers, and a MS or a Prot war), and in that situation, I find wf totem is vastly superior to GoA.
