You obviously put a lot of time into your post, so I'm making this a warning. You could have looked up the HP on your own, rather than ask other people what it is. Additionally, you could have searched for information on the encounter via other means. Ultimately some useful conversation came out of it, which is why you get off with only a warning. Also, please work on capitalization/punctuation to improve the readability of your post. Thanks.

Hello, i'm a new poster but an old reader.

The current debate seems to be on alysrazor hatchlings and what i can see the info and experience is a bit too "feel" based atm. So lets all gather our experiences, infos on the fight and such.

For me, i tank normal 10 man alysrazor and i'll be doing it on heroic mode on wednesday/thursday most likely. Wol shows me doing 150-200k dps on alysrazors hatchling in the fight, and for normal mode its more than enough and i'm ready with the killing with spare time. Our paladin tank has been strugling bit with killing it and as such he gets thorns and such.

The big questions for us are: Hp difference between normal 10/25 and 10/25 heroic, the length of the hatchling phase.
Myself, i have no idea about the hp difference, but the time between alysrazors awakenings after burn phase is 3 minutes (i tank him and my ibf is always spot on ready for it). This leads me to beliave that the hatcling phase is 1,5-2 minutes long.

If someone knows the hp's for both normal and heroic, with this info we can easily count the minimum dps needed.

How to help your dps: The usual hit rating/expertice (this differs on dk's some like to have, some don't), those will definately up your dps. Deathstrike glyph.
Raid can debuff your targets with faerie fire, sunder, exposed armor to increase your physical dmg.
Raid can also buff you with retribution aura and thorns.

If i missed something, please correct/post what i didn't remember

Surviving : I haven't tried ap flask, and don't do much more hs's, and from my experience if i were to, i'd be dropping survivability too much and creating a unneeded stress on healers. As such, i don't feel lowering survivability to increase dps is needed, and we should try finding other ways around it.

Thats what i got, and i hope you guys will help us tackle this bugger.
