In my current gear, BoD does an average dmg of 100k+, 2 of 4 ticks crit very often, and shadow bolt has an average dmg of 12-15k non crit, that would mean you have to crit at least 4 shadow bolts to outdamage BoD and 8 non-crit shadow bolts.

And what about Eradication talent? It's even more important than instant bolts, i guess.
