There is a post three above yours that very nicely details the behavior of manual pet attack activations as well as ways to make it stick to its current target. Be sure to read the entirety of the thread before answering a question, or half answering it as you did.

It depends. Especially on whether your pet is always on your target or not, because manually activating pet attack abilities causes your pet to switch to your target...
