This macro is not helpful, in fact, it will prevent you from clipping MF. The DoT clipping mechanics were changed with the release of cataclysm so that there is no DPS loss from clipping a DoT now, and if you're playing with nonzero latency and reaction time, clipping DoTs is now a DPS gain.
It works something as follows: If you have 0.5 seconds left on MF and you recast another MF, instead of cancelling the current MF, you simply extend the duration to (base MF duration)+0.5 seconds. As long as you are recasting MF after the second last tick, it's as though you keep channeling MF forever.
