Your point about telluric currents is just repeating stuff other people have already said, including Fieldcrest earlier on the same page as your post. Please read more before posting.
Also, trying to time your casts with mana tide totem so you "get full spirit while not casting" is wrong. The five second rule is gone. We no longer have mana regeneration while casting and while not casting. Now it's in combat and out of combat.
Finally, you (0/7 normal) don't have the same credibility when you talk about "here's what I do" as Novex (7/7 heroic) or Sixthy (6/7 heroic). Your comment about timing mana regen during bloodlust suggests your experience is limited to 5-player dungeons.

Doxq i have to disagree with you.
First of all, that talent can be very useful if shaman knows what he has to do. However i have seen many shamans, spamming it, when they shouldn't doing it.
Personally i found it very well spent talent, cause i really don't need instant wolf, rgiht? Or lets say, i need it more than i need wolf.
I use it when whenever i could, especially when it has to be cast..on BL/TW.
Lets say in raid you will hit with it about 10k? Which makes decent return of mana of about 4k? Plus, when you crit with it its nice to see how your mana is regenerating.
Tho, i use it after totem and/or trinket. Just to make sure i get full spirit while not casting.
