I, however, am most assuredly not. This much of a bitch fest over a justified 1 point infraction? Not only is there a sticky from Kaubel, it is also explicitly mentioned in rule 7: "Additionally, do not post asking for confirmation of a simulation result. If you think there is a problem with the Sim you are welcome to PM the author."

Lastly, I feel obligated to educate you on one more point: your comment, "It is NOT a 'stupid question' (a truly mature individual recognizes there is no such thing)," this is what smart people tell morons in an effort to be nice. There is such a thing as a dumb question. Anyone who is able to walk and chew gum simultaneously will tell you as much. For example, I am currently enduring non-calculus based Physics to round off a Biology degree. A student in my class asked why gravity isn't positive when you throw something up in the air. This is a borderline dumb question. Then a second, third, and fourth person managed to ask the same question within a 1 hour class period. The fourth person was a colossal fucking retard. Considering our standpoint on the confirmation of sim results is outlined in not one, but two places, that puts you around the same point as person number 3 minimally. I figure this puts you and your question at just shy of colossally fucking retarded. Regardless, the amount of disrespect you showed Wizeowel gets you a one-way ticket out of here.

It is indeed a stupid question because you've already had the confirmation from Rawr.mage, and if you had really searched you would have found previous discussion on this very question. The only thing you seem to be bringing with your post is that your gut feeling doesn't allow you to trust the thousands or millions of calculations Rawr did to figure this out for you.

I have looked around rather extensively here for a couple of nights out of trepidation at posting a stupid question but I can't find my answer anywhere.

Has any definate consensus been reached regarding 4PT12? Rawr is telling me to stick with 4PT11 and the T12 hat but I want to confirm that here.

It is NOT a "stupid question" (a truly mature individual recognizes there is no such thing) as you say because while Rawr may indicate a solution, Rawr has also often been wrong about many things. The proper solution in a situation such as this is to confirm that solution with your peers. That's not stupidity or hand-holding, that's proper scientific process.

Additionally, I DID spend an inordinate amount of time searching for confirmation on the forums. In fact, I DEFY you to link me a single thread which provides a consensus other than "I dunno, let's see what happens". Prove me wrong, asshole.

Finally, you have obviously underestimated the level of my transgression with only a temporary restriction. You could outright ban me (which I'm sure you will do now that someone has dared to challenge your "ultimate authority" in your tin-pot dictatorial role on an internet message forum) and I'd still get as much out of your site as I do now.

My regret in your moronic response is simply the knowledge that as you go through life treating people like dirt, I won't be there to see you get the 2x4 up the side of the head you will undoubtedly receive.

We're not here to hold your hand about your tough T11 v T12 gear question. If you had actually read the forum rules that you agreed to when you signed up here, you'd see that asking for gear help is one of our pet hates. Still loads of people come here expecting that when they ask, no one would dare to object. If you also wish to peruse the banhammer subforum you can find thousands of users infracted for this kind of question. Saying "Prove me wrong" and mumbling about "scientific process" won't suddenly make us turn around and say: "we've been so mean to these people all these years, lets change our ways and run their spreadsheets for their lazy asses."

What more concerning: if you think that a forum moderator calling you out when you flaunt the forum rules is grounds or justification for physical violence, then you have some seriously backward view of how to connect with society. Would you also stand outside a library cussing and threatening bodily abuse if a librarian says "shhh" to you?
