Since i found no way to sim it, i've got a pretty basic question:
How exactly do you guys open a fight? Do you strictly follow the priority queue from the very beginning or do you think there is a better way to do it?
Last night on normal Ragnaros i peaked at about 36k dps after some seconds and i think a lot of crit/proc luck was involved, but i'm usually gradually climbing in dps until im pretty stable around 30/31k in tank'n'spank situations.
So this is how i start the fight:
prepot
autohit + redrop searing totem
on-use-effects (currently engineer gloves+orc racial) + storm strike
follow priority queue (first lava lash will hit with 1 searing flames stack)
Yeah, it's basically just following the priority queue, but i dont know if there's more to it.
Using lava lash before storm strike seems to be bad (lava lash 1 gcd earlier ready, but no 4t12 debuff and no searing flames stack)
How about delaying the first lava lash for additional searing flames stacks?
How do you guys do it?
