Elitist Jerks is a forum focused on end game raiding, and not really a place to find the starter information you are looking for. I see that someone has mentioned one of the many guides and sites available with instructions for beginner healing priests, and a Google search will turn up many more. You might also want to look at the PlusHeal community. Their focus is much more general and will have discussions for those just starting out. I look forward to seeing you back here with us as you gain experience and prepare to take on greater challenges.

Could someone point me towards Priest Healing 101 information please? Which spec is better for a noob healer and such. I have never healed in my 6 years of playing WoW and I want to speed up my ques for dungeons leveling from 80-85.
I just returned home after an 8 month deployment on a US Warship. So, I was at least 7 months behind when I started playing to begin with. Loving the new expansion so far.
PM's are preferred. Any direct information or suggested links are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your patience.
