Let's hope these changes don't go through without some form of compensation as, with the flat melee buff and few nerfs to other competitive specs, we could look comparatively in worse shape than ever this expansion.
Apologies for seeming uninformed but I am trying to fully grasp this spec as quickly as possible. I am still having some difficulty getting any solid information on "cleaving" scenarios as elem. After checking several of the top elemental parses for Majordomo Hc, I see none of the top elems using chain lightning. Based on DPCT and the additional chance for mastery procs, assuming its not used recklessly until OOM, it should be a dps increase over lightning bolt. Why is it therefor unused?
Likewise flameshock uptime on multiple targets for increased surge procs i'd assume would be beneficial but isn't covered in any of the major elem resources.
