Check the simcraft thread for best possible theoretical DPS (it's currently Demo > Affl > Destro in BiS gear). Also I don't think the auto-biography is really necessary.

Ok, so this is kind of a wierd question I guess. Oddly enough I play PvE as Destro because the affliction locks on my server with better gear than I have are running lesser dps than I am. This is true pretty much across the board. I recently xferred servers and on my old server, there was one aff warlock that could out dps me. I was in full 359's except for a ring(353) and a trinket(346), while the other affliction warlock was in just about as many 372 (heroic T11) gear as you could get. So here's the deal, as destro in my current gear (avg ilvl 364.9 according to altoholic) I'm running roughly 23-24k dps. I've tried running affliction and can never get within 2k of that.
I've been reading up on EJ forums for awhile now as a non-member, and I've read in so many posts that aff>demo>destro. But I'm not sure if it's true. Am i doing something wrong if I'm pulling 19-20k as affliction in the same gear? Do all of the affliction locks that I've encountered up until this point just suck? Let's say i was in full 378's with no heroic or legendary gear, what kind of dps should I be running as affliction?
Not to toot my own horn here, but the questions that I keep asking myself is, "am i just that good at destro, that I destroy affliction warlocks, even tho they are supposed to be better?" or "if this is the dps i'm getting as destro, what kind of dps could i get as affliction?" After trying affliction in PvE (b/c that's all i use in pvp) and not attaining the same results as destro, I've come to a conclustion that may be false -- "destro is better than affliction... as long as you know what the hell you are doing and you are pretty pro at it." So i guess, now that i've come across as a pompous jerk in regards to my destro skills, I'll let you decide based upon the #'s that I gave you whether I should just keep trucking with destro or go affliction and apply changes that you might suggest.
