This is a simple question you could really answer yourself with a pen and paper, or with a calculator in less than a minute, assuming that you are leisurely sipping tea while doing so and doesn't belong in this thread. I'm moving it and the responses to [Cataclysm] Mage Simple Questions and Answers (Read the First Post) but you really should be able to answer it yourself without resorting to posting about it.

For now Arcane explosion is the way to go for an arcane mage for the best AOE. Whith even de ABx4 stack up for 5sec, we do a lot of damage.
My question is if it would give even more dps if you would do
ABx4- AE-AE-AE AB AE-AE-AE AB
Instead of
ABx4 AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-AE-
with other words you keep the AB stack up on 4 delivering 52% more damage with AE but lose one AE and get a AB instead)
Any sugestions?
