Just wondering if anyone else has looked at the stage 2 daggers and the equip bonus on the MH

Any idea what they are intending with a 1.8s MH dagger increasing SS & RS? I could understand if it was the 1.4s OH that had this effect, since combat rogue still use dagger OH. The idea of combat dagger build using SS just sounds plain wrong and I cant figure out what they are trying to accomplish with this.
