Glyph of UA is used because there are no other real options. You could use the Glyph of BoA if you'd like, but then again as you said, it's not used over BoD so therefor = 0 increase in dps. However for multi-dotting encounters it's a very viable alternative.

As for BoA ticks: the way the glyph works is that it extends the duration of the bane with 4 seconds effectively giving 2 extra stronger ticks at the end (i.e. stronger than the last ticks on an un-glyphed BoA). However because of how BoA works, you cannot clip it (if you didn't happen to know this).

Which combination of the three is best? I've been using MWC and H NF simply because it adds up to more mastery for my first Meta+Doomguard. I feel like the H NF is more reliable because firelands fights are getting very short for my guild now and we're frequently killing the boss 10~sec before my DMC would proc again.

MWC is BiS currently for Demonology because of it's synergized use with Meta, therefor you should use them in conjunction every time possible (remember though to activate the trinket before Meta, otherwise it won't work, and a simple macro won't cut it).

H:NF is surprisingly bad after the nerf. DMC:V still remains as one of the best trinkets currently and I would recommend it together with MWC if you're playing Demonology. However to be absolutely sure, and based on the short kill times you mention, check out the Simcraft thread and the bars for the trinket procs and use your own stat values to get an overall DPS total. Or just sim it.
