Please don't just give gear help. His question was regarding crit mechanics. I agree it should have been in SQA, but only partially answering his question was not really that helpful since when gear changes he'd possibly have to ask it again. Thanks a bunch.

Use AoK and VoA. As long as you don't pop Recklessness while AoK is up, you'll be fine.
