While your question about modelling the procs of the trinket is a decent one, it is probably better suited for the DPS analysis thread. We don't need the whole backstory about how you have to save the timer and might give it to a guild mate and blah, blah, blah. We don't need the greeting and don't sign your posts, this isn't a letter home from camp. We don't need you to link your armory it is in the user plate to the left of your post. Hello guys!

I recently got Kiril, Fury of Beasts from Deathwing and I will be replacing my Fandral's heroic polearm.

My question is simply, what is better?

The Spire of Coagulated Globules (From Yor'Sajh the Unsleeping) or Kiril, Fury of Beasts from Deathwing?
I actually passed the spire a week ago and I might be living to regret that if it actually tops Kiril in the end...

However, when I run FD to check my two available current set-ups of Fandrals vs Kiril, Fandral's actually is better than the Kiril when I reforge all of my gear around the additional statistics that Fandrals gives over Kiril. However, its only a 50dps loss.

This suggests to me that Kiril is not being modelled in FD correctly, or that the Kiril is actually not as good as it seems.

Reading some threads on here, I see people talking about Kiril having a 35% uptime, which I have collaborated with WoL's, and a 17-18% uptime at maximum stacks. Surely that's a massive DPS increase over the course of a fight? 17% with such a large buff surely accounts for the 50DPS loss from statistics?

Can anyone help me with my plight before I hand over Kiril to my guilds Feral Druid!

Yes, I am aware that Kiril is un-enchanted and I am not reforged correctly. This is to prevent the WoW timer counting down so I can no longer trade it to the guilds Feral if it is indeed better for him!
