Torrent p90x if your looking for a decent circuit type workout. For a program you can do at home with minimal equipment it is hard to beat. I did power 90 then p90x and dropped about 5% bf in the six month period. I also went from 20 pushups in a 30 minute period, to 190ish in a 45 minute period. Later on, if you cut enough body fat and feel like swinging by a gym, I would recommend a starting strenght/madcow/wendler progression. Seven and a half months of that put me at a 350lb back squat and a 400lb deadlift, but my bf% stayed the same or even went up a hair.
BTW what sort of meds are causing the weight gain? When I was first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes they prescribed my Glucovanse and that made me jump to almost 220. Just cutting out most of my carbs and adding light exercise allowed me to drop down to Metformin for meds.
