Sub/Combat rogue here, I'm a little stuck on how to gem my Emergency Descent Loop with either a Deft Ember Topaz or a Delicate Inferno Ruby.
My calculations might be wrong, but I work it out as:
Sub
Delicate Inferno Ruby
40 agility + 5% (leather specialisation) + 30% (Sinister calling) = 54.6 agility * 3.8 EP = 207.48 EP
Deft Ember Topaz
20 agility + 10 (socket bonus) + 5% (leather specialisation) + 30% (Sinister calling) = 46.8 agility (* 3.8 EP = 177.84 EP) + 20 haste (* 1.58 EP = 31.6 EP) = 209.44 EP
So the Deft Ember Topaz seems to be the way to go for Sub.
Please tell me if my math is way off, or if you think I'm just wrong. Obviously if the EP values reflect the bonuses granted by leather specialisation and sinister calling these calculations won't be correct.
I've been looking at how other people gem this ring and I can't find a consensus - in fact I was gonna gem it with straight agility until I saw others matching the socket bonus and so started second guessing myself.
