You really should read the tooltip for resilience. It has zero benefit for PVE scenarios and was specifically set up to ensure that PVP was mainly used for PVP.

Why is armor with resilience not ideal for PVE? I would think resilience would be an excellent stat for raiding. The gear from both honor and conquest points are loaded with AG, Hit, and Crit as well as Res and the sets seem equally suitable for raiding as well as PVP.
