Hello,
i was wondering how other guilds deal with melee attacking the priest we normally have 3 rogues 2 dps druids 1 dps warrior on her at the end and it all ends in tears 
my guild has killed fathom lord once,
we stack the hunter and shaman killing the shaman first and skipping some totems so our dps speeds up.
once the shaman and hunter + pet are down the priest is normally on 70% or so from the 1 mage and 1 warlock on her as soon as another add hits 55% to stop the heals.
This is where the fight gets tricky. having just lost a lot of mana from healing and from the hunters mana drain ability our healers have a tricky time keeping melee alive from the priests AOE. Chucking the melee on fathom lord while ranged kill the priest is also working our to be trouble as they dont get heals as all the healers are busy with the MT or priest.
we run with 8 healers and we have tried it with more but would rather have extra dps as last time potted/flasked we had 12 seconds left before the boss would beserk on us.
i spose what i am asking for is what should we do tank wise we take 3 prot tanks (priest shaman fathom lord) 1 feral tank for hunter and another druid/warrior to get the pet if he does a runner. I know my healers are good and i am more than happy with our dps but something isnt going our way.
biggest problem is hunter draining mana and with the priest aoeing the healing gets hard work.
we can survive up to the boss with 0 deaths and have around 3 mins to kill the boss - at this time should we forget about totems?
To change things around perhaps the hunter is best to kill first? and when we do stack them the hunter (second target for dps) only gets to around 90% is it worth us tanking them all seperate?
