If you take full tank-healing spec, you will got insane amount of HPS. You dont need that much hps at single target.
Would we have Beacon of Light to divide that HPS to two tanks - it would be fine. But we cant do that, so:

Never, ever think about Disc as a MT healer if you have paladin. Disc priest atm rather good raid healer with >>tremendous<< amount of utility
