While we do encourage challenging the status quo and exploring new avenues to achieve higher DPS, most of you post requires extensive sim work to back up any of the claims. It must also be evaluated for multiple gear levels to ensure that it is entirely optimal and not just a "best for me" scenario. Half-assing something as fact doesn't cut it around here.

I noticed that the guide is a bit outdated about hit cap isn't the new hit cap 8%?
I was also wondering if reforging to haste instead of crit would be better a lot of hunters in my guild been saying they noticed a huge dps gain when taking crit and turning it into haste or is this some how wrong?
Not sure if its me or not but I seem to find the best rotation is:
SS= Serpent Shot CS= Chimera Shot StS= Steady Shot RF= Rapid Fire AS= Aim Shot ArS= Arcane Shot
SS > CS > StS > StS > RF > AS > ArS > StS > StS > CS
Basically repeating this over and over using Arcane shot and Aim rotation until Chimera is up and then hitting Chimera. Just seems like a lot less complicated and doesn't go through as much focus I have a ilvl of 380 so maybe its just cause I'm lower geared then the top tier? I just find doing Aim shot a lot kills my focus I can't do the recommended 3 times. Or am I missing something?
