This would be better posted in the SV thread not the simple questions / simple answers thread. I would not use target dummy DPS as a meter of anything, and I don't think a 20 min run is really a decent sample size. If you want to repost it in the SV thead but this time with some logs and supporting work to discuss that would be fine but as is, it is pretty speculative.

I've been running some tests for a while on aspect switching. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed the same thing. It seems that excess amounts of aspect switching, at least in my testing, can result in a small but significant dps loss.
I tried to execute a number of different rotations with different levels of aspect switching.
Rotation A was where I always used Aspect of the Fox when using a Cobra Shot, and then switched to Aspect of the Hawk for all other instant shots.
Rotation B was where I switched to Aspect of the Fox for Cobra Shot, but only switched to Aspect of the Hawk when my focus was close to full and I was dumping focus. So some instants were used when in Aspect of the Fox.
I would expect Rotation A to provide more dps than Rotation B, but that was not the case.
Over 20 minute duration
Rotation A - 25,294 dps
Rotation B - 26,546 dps
Any thoughts on this?
