Interesting posts. Few coments :
1) High avodaince it is bad for rage / threat generation, but:
- at bosses u will have anyway decent rage
- trash can be usually taunted back
- immune to taunt mobs are handdled with caution anyway by the hole raid.
- what I have found to be a downside of high avodaince (dodge/parry/chance to be miss) it is that healers get the feeling of an easy fight and relax a bit.
- call for missdirection when u are in trouble, ask dps to slow for few secs.
2) Changing the way rage is generate it does involve some really big balance issues and is not to be seen in near future. Personally what I will prefer to have is a base rage generation when dealing / taking dmg (a X value) and a bonus rage in function of the amount of dmg dealt / taken (a Y value). So total will be rage= X (constant value) + Y(bonus- variable) instead of rage=Y (variable) as it (probably) is now.
