You're right, without the sha gem, Scimitar is better than Kilrak. But corrections or suggestions for the guide post should be sent to Pullo as a PM rather than as a reply in the thread.

I believe [Qon's Flaming Scimitar] is actually better than [Kilrak, Jaws of Terror] as a second weapon for DW. Since it is possible to socket the legendary gem only into one weapon even when dualwielding, kil'rak has actually less stats than the scimitar.
Kil'rak :592 str, 887 stamina, 400 hit, 385 mastery
Total 592 str, 785 secondary stat.
Scimitar: 512 str,887 stamina, 360 hit, 345 mastery, 320 stat [hit, or hit + expertise] + 60 mastery from socket
Total 512 str, 1085 secondary stat.
The tradeoff is 80 str for 300 of secondary stat which should be a dps increase considering the stat weights for DW. Thoughts?
