as I am at 492 item level too, there will be a noticeable increase in dps, especially since last night I only have 1 LFR tier on my gear. Looking forward to dps the heroic modes now after holidays.
If I hadn't used my gold to re-buy the legendary gem when I jumped from the LFR sha-touched weapon to the Normal sha-touched weapon...I would have re-gemmed and reforged and run the sim. However for the sake of it I will at some point during holidays :)
