i've just gotten the opportunity to start ot'ing in ssc and tk. my guild is currently 5/6 ssc and 3/4 tk. we've been working in there for awhile now. i however, have raided it mostly on my warlock, and have been waiting until another ot spot opened up before i was able to switch mains. i'm fairly well geared and very excited to tank in a 25 man raid.

i am the first prot pally that we have had so i'm sort of trailblazing my way. i know of only one other prot pally on my server in ssc and tk. so i don't have that much to learn from other than these forums.

the first thing that i'm concerned about is hydross. i will more than likely be add tanking this. what kind of resists do i need for this fight? i read octopa's post about what gear he uses (or used) in post 906. is that much really needed? what is everyone using now? and how are you guys tanking the adds? all 4 or just 2?

i really appreciate the help.
