the deadzone wasnt so much an issue- no doubt we'll be better off without it, but the core of our problem is that while so many classes have a way to get into our melee range and stay there, we have few ways to stop it. it the next patch, it will be even worse as shamans will be able to frost shock spam us into submission (no, FS is not like hamstring; hamstring does not crit for 1k and cannot be cast from 20 yds. yes i realize warriors have intercept on a 15 sec cd. and yes, warriors are already far too tough for a hunter in an arena situation and shamans look like they will become the same), and some paladins and rogues will be moving at +15% speed.

someone mentioned druids and cyclone earlier. i find it ironic that druids got a spammable CC that is better than freeze trap in pretty much every way. freeze trap being untargettable with a 30 sec cooldown pretty much makes it the worst CC in the arena on a class who is supposed to be a good CC class. i dont see how you could lower the CD without frost trap becoming crazy but its silly.
