just guessing here but are you exiting stealth into a regrowth or a cyclone? this would give them plenty of time to sap you as you dont get into combat till the cast goes off..

If you know there is a rogue around looking for you then exit stealth with a LB or Rejuv this will put you instantly into combat as well as if you do get hit by the rogue atleast youve got something on your partner to help his wait for you to get free.

also something I do when I know there is a rogue looking for me is I exit stealth throwing LB,rejuv,LB,LB but I do this on the move,,,, never stop, this gives you a much bigger chance that youll get a few casts off before they hit you. also if you cast 2 or 3 HOTS then go travel form for a few steps youll put some more distance behind you.

if there is a rogue waiting for you dont let your partner get too low. one the rogue can slow down your chance to save a low partner and two if he gets low enough that rogue with hit him hard enough you wont be able to save him.
