I have a 40/0/21 spec, currently I have kara gear plus four pieces of the t4 set, and the darkmoon card: crusade trinket (which I really like). This spec has served me really well so far, I have always been top three dps in the guild. We are starting to move into mag, TC, SSC, etc, and I want to maximize my effectiveness as a pve raid mage. I have been thinking about switching to the 10/48/3 spec and I am willing to craft a fire set but I think I might enough gear from kara and gruuls to make the switch.

Is this a good point to make a transition into fire or should I stay with the 40/0/21 for a little longer? Or is there any other spec that would work great at this point in time given our guild progression and gear. My goal is to remain as a top dps'er in the guild.
