WotLK is too far away but still it is not a bad idea to discuss the future

As we have all experienced the price of End BC basic materials jump in TBC

However I play since BC but am not that experienced of how all prices where up then however i can see how dust + essences rised their price while shards and voids dropped. Now the value fo runecloth is still up maybe because people craft/ DE and sell enchanting materials same iswith high price of Leather (RUGGED) that is more than the curent knothide on my server

ATM i am leveling an BE Enchanter at 289 skill atm and intend to see how leveling will go up to 385 so that i can make up my mind

Several things that we can take in account is that many peopel dropped their gathering skill to pick up a craftable profesion due to new awasome chests liek rogues/hunters did later on in TBC many might decide to level up a gathering prefesion instead as to make money while leveling also many will pick up the new inscribers profesion and many will be dissapoitned from their old one and pick a new one all in all Profesions will be droped and relearned from top to bottom once again and if one needs old Dusts to level from 270 to 300 now ... imagine how much he will need to level from 300 to 375 before moving to the actual new dusts

Blizzard made a huge mistkake (or maybe not) giving only 1 dust 1 essence 1 leather for 2 different profesions to level from 300 to 375 .... those maths are going to sky rocket a moth or 2 within WotLK
Nobody is going to go back to skin Outland beasts when he needs to level up do quests or attune for the new instance

Still i am not going to buy them

just save them ATM 1 dust = less 1g & 1 essence = ~3g similar with Knothide leather
