Well first, im a PvE raid shamy
My first concern is about the Spell Rotations... i have read quite a bit and used maxdps.com and there is one thing i cant understand y the hell Chain Lighting will lower my dps rotation (without haste)

Lets say i have 1200 Spell Damage
Lbolt Average whitout spell damage = 641
Clight Average whitout spell damage = 825
Lbolt Coef = 0.79
Clight Coef = 0.71

Lbolt Average = 641 + 1200*0.79 = 1589 (in 2 secs, so 795 DPS)
Clight Average = 825 + 1200*0.71 = 1677 (in 1.5 secs, so 1118 DPS)

Whitout concidering the crits and haste those are the maths..
i CANT understand y using Cligh will actually Lower my dps using a 4/1 rotation and improve it using a 3/1 rotation, cause i think it will improve my dps always (it has more damage per second..) so.. the best rotation should b the one with the most Clight, but as i checked on maxdps.com and some ppl said here
3/1 > Lbolt Spam > 4/1
Can some 1 explain my why?!?!?
(The crits and lighting overload are the same for Lbolt and Clight, so it shouldnt matter if its added or not)
Dont care about the haste.. even whitout haste maxdps says "3/1 > Lbolt Spam > 4/1"
i want to know what part of the calcs i am missing...

I calculated and lbolt will NEVER have better dps than clight... .. so what part of the calcs i am missing cause many ppl says that lbolt spam do more dps than 3/1 at some point...
i am wrong at some point? ppl r wrong when they say clight lowers ur dps? (even with haste my calcs says clight will have a better dps than lbolt), is maxdps so wrong as i think?

2nd question based on the same stuff... it is worh to add a flame shock / earth shock in the middle of the rotation when u need to nuke? (like when the boss is taking more damage like mag)
