if you are complaining that you have to move around a lot as a fire mage is a serious cop-out to the entire mage class.. you can't dps if you have to move around and fire has the range that arcane does not have so if moving is an issue for you then you are A) standing too close to the boss or B) your an idiot that doesn't know your class. You have to move with arcane as well and I don't see too many problems keeping up the scorch debuff as there is when I have to move at times with the Arcane blast debuff.

2) Rage winterchill has frost resistance so if an arcane mage (arc/frost) beats you on that fight, he got very lucky with resists, or had a very good SP (or lots of movement = regen time "I had to move for 23 seconds, ooh goodie I've now got LOADS of mana to spunk on AB spam!") or the movement screwed you over and actually helped him...

Awesome you just proved to us how much of an idiot you really are thank you! Frostbolt is a binary spell it can only hit or not hit and it can not be partially resisted. On Rage as well you would as Manly pointed out Arcane Blast him. WTF are you talking about with movement.. it should not take you 23 seconds to move out of Death and Decay even like a chicken with your head cut off. Also, with frostbolt, assuming that you put 3 points into elemental precision and you are hit capped the number that you do miss with your frostbolts should be around 1% anyways as it is a hit or miss binary spell.

Well, as rounced has pointed out the other mage did way more decursing than you.

What you could mention ; would be the fact that he was very unlucky and had to decurse a hell of a lot and that the mage he was fighting with did APPALLINGly badly to have done when he had only 9 decurses to do. Either that or the second mage needs to get decursive installed and put somewhere convenient on his screen (and bind all abilities to buttons so he can dps and watch decursive 99% of the time) so that he doesn't get beaten to the punch on decursing. However, for all we know - the mage that came second could have been leading the raid and had other priorities. You can't ever know.

The fact that he was doing his job as a mage decurser is not "unlucky" if he was doing the same as you your raid would have wiped. End of discussion.
