Okay, I am definitely no math wiz, and i am pretty sure my spelling, typing, and grammar suck too. That said i seem to be getting a bit of diminishing returns on my spell damage. I am currently using these values:
387 Int
182 spi
774 sd
167 crit
156 hit
0 mp5
172 fire/arcane dmg
42 haste
I have 3/3 spellfire
and 2/2 spellstrike
Lightning cap
my build is 4/46/11
i have all bonuses set to 0 ( ie wrath of air, totem of wrath, vamparic embrace etc)
I am using imp scorch
and have it set for a 360 second (6 min) encounter
with push back at 45
when i add the 101 spell dmage directly and with the option for WoA i get a "return"or increase of 68 dps. 67%
but if i put in 50 spell damage i get 33 dps. 66%
75 spell damage i get 51 dps. 68%
finally ( i added this because 50/75/100 are multiples of 25 so i figure it must be consistant due to distribution)
60 spell damage is 40 dps also 67%.
can you tell me why i only get 67% of my spell damage as dps?
Can you add an option to compare a 5s-8fb-1s vs. 5s-7fb- 1s vs. 5s-9fb-5s rotation?
