For now I am just going with 2\2 weap mastery ( a nice option since I am human ) and using Madness and DST.
I have been doing the no slam method for about two weeks now, and I have to say while this method is "easier" I still get these periods ( which is the obvious point of the build ) where I am at 50 rage, I dont Q up a heroic, and I triple attack for 2800 each and I know I wasted about 80 rage, Of course there are those one in 15-20 attack rotations where I Q up a Heroic, get a proc, get up to 80, hit it again and get a proc again and don't waste anything. Unfortunately it seems that I do my best damage when I am wasting rage vs when I am trying to super anal not waste rage.
I really enjoy raiding as a DPS warrior but I really can't figure out which method is best ( I don't like either much the slam or no slam ). It seems it would be nice to try to do both as a hybrid, but I can't seem to find a good metric for when to do what.
This all related to the original question, and I have been trying a normal slam rotation with no haste gear and using DST, and switching to the no slam rotation for DST buff + one extra "rotation" after the buff fades, and going back to slamming. So far it seems to be best to drop the DST, stick with the madness if you want pure slamming but I've got to believe if you could perfect a method like this it would be far superior DPS.

yeah, it seems that i would be best doing the normal rotation for all times except for when my attack speed goes below 2.5. I've been reading about how guys like Graul do kickass dps without using slam once, and I dont know what it is, but last night I tried that for the first time and I was not happy with it, doing only 1475 on teron when I could have done probably 200-300 more if I had stuck to the slam rotation instead. Maybe it was just the first night of trying it, but I'm going to pretty much stick to what I know more. I should focus on getting my cat's edge to drop for once lol.
